Vocifero's second chapter, a journey covering three stops and a tribute to the woman's vocalism, after the Canzoni success (Dodicilune, 2007) where Risso and his guys "play" the singers' voices that inspired the project (Bjork, Fraser, Gibbons, Mitchell, among the others), "Composizioni" includes original music thought and composed to be a tribute to each single voice to which the project has been dedicated; in a creative process which intentionally plays with the ambiguity on the (original or not so original) material origin.
In this work the extraordinary timbre and "emotional" qualities of each single musician emerge, from the pianism of an always more stellar Stefano Battaglia, to Zanoli's multirhythmic fluidity, to Ayace Ayassot's choice of a unique and sandy sound, perfectly representing all the nuances of the human voice. Vocifero, meaning many voices communicating all together, in this way the instruments refer to a clear coral and creative dimension.
